Landscape Construction in Woburn, MA

The challenge at Hillside Terrace in Woburn, MA, was transforming a dangerous, unused, sloped backyard into a welcoming space for entertainment. The solution involved constructing 4-foot-high retaining walls and bringing in fill material to reduce the slope, creating a safer, more functional area. Atop these walls, a paver terrace was installed, featuring a wood-burning fire pit to enhance the ambiance and provide warmth during the cool New England fall evenings. Additionally, a new granite staircase and walkway were constructed to offer a seamless transition from the driveway to this newly inviting backyard. This project successfully turned a previously neglected space into a cherished outdoor living area for gatherings and relaxation.
