The transformation began with the lower tier, where a custom paver basketball court was installed to college regulation size, complete with a high-quality Goalrilla hoop and privacy fencing for focused play. The middle terrace emerged as the heart of entertainment, featuring a select thermal bluestone terrace that hosts an outdoor TV and sound system, perfect for watching sports under the sky. Adjacent to this, a custom gas fire pit offers warmth on cool New England nights, ensuring the space is enjoyable year-round. To navigate the property's natural grade, stone veneer retaining walls with bluestone caps were built, complemented by a monolithic granite staircase that seamlessly connects the different outdoor living areas. This thoughtful design not only solves the challenge of the slope but also creates distinct zones for activity and relaxation, fulfilling the client's vision for a backyard that encourages both play and leisure.
