For the Pond View Estate in North Reading, MA, the client envisioned a backyard transformation that would enhance their expansive two-acre property. Collaborating with Copper Beech Designs for the landscape design, a bespoke 25’ x 16’ x 3’ deep koi pond became the centerpiece of the project, complete with reclaimed granite steps appearing to float across the water and a spillway nestled within a stone seating wall. Surrounding this tranquil water feature, an expansive 1,000 sqft travertine stone terrace offers ample space for dining and relaxation, boasting stunning views of the pond. To navigate the property’s natural elevation, multiple Caledonia granite staircases were constructed, complemented by custom wrought iron handrails crafted by Irias Ironworks Services, ensuring accessibility while adding to the estate’s elegance. This project skillfully marries functionality with beauty, creating a serene and inviting outdoor oasis for the client.
