Wellesley Retreat is a backyard we built with landscape architect Elizabeth Gourley in Wellesley, MA. A sports court for pickleball and basketball sits beside a 16 by 24 gunite pool, with an outdoor shower at the pool house so the essentials stay close.
A custom outdoor kitchen with a bar top opens onto a bluestone dining terrace, wrapped by a seating wall and a fire pit. One yard, built for play, cooking and quiet evenings outside.
